| Where is he now? My dear friend Doobie passed
away in the spring of 2009. After a very short illness he went in for
surgery only to find he had a massive tumor in his intestines. We had
to have him put down on the operating table. It was one of the saddest
days of my life. Doobie was one of the four puppies we raised and I
always felt that we had a special connection. When ever I was in the
dog yard Doobie was the one you would find sitting right against my
side. He was my main go to lead dog through out the 2008 - 2009 sledding
season. I don't think I will ever get used to not seeing him here with
me. There will never be another Dubois but we will try
to carry on in his memory.
