Where is he now? Teddy has gone to live with a family in Pennsylvania. They came to visit us in the spring of 2008 fell in love with Teddy. When it became apparent that Teddy was not enjoying tours here and I mentioned that I might be looking for a better fit for him they jumped at the chance to adopt him. They have a beautiful fenced in yard and have created a wonderful home for him where I'm sure he will be very happy. Below is a picture of Teddy and some of his new friends heading out for a hike. Apparently he is somewhat of a celebrity among the neighborhood kids due to his history of being a sled dog.

*Note: Sometimes dogs that I adopt turn out to not be a good match for the rest of our team. There are many different reasons this can happen from the inability to get along with the other dogs to a lack of drive. When this happens I strive to find a more suitable situation for the dog taking into consideration their individual personalities. I will do whatever it takes to assure that each and every dog is happy and living a fulfilling life. Any dog I place in a new home will come back to me if the new home does not work out. I pride myself on being responsible for each and every dog for the duration of it's life.
