If the weather is too warm or wet for a cart ride you
are still welcome to make a trip to Lake Elmore to visit Peace Pups Dogsledding!
We offer a one hour visit with hot coffee, hot chocolate and herbal teas
along with our digital slide show on our five foot by eight foot screen.
If you don't mind getting a little dirty you are welcome to venture into
the dog yard to play with the dogs as they race around their enclosed
play area. They are always overjoyed to make new friends.
My two part slide show features various dog powered sports ranging from skijoring to scootering, historical photos of dogsledding, and a history of how our pack of Peace Pups grew from one dog to twelve (thirteen, fourteen?). Learn what we do to provide a fun and healthy life style for our Siberians, what it requires to feed, train and house these incredible athletes.
Kennel visits are based on availabiliy and generally do not need to be booked in advance. If it is too warm or wet for running the dogs I am usually around and happy to have visitors. If possible try to call a day in advance to be sure I am available.
